Zdeňa Op de Macks, PhD
Zdeňa Op de Macks, PhD, is a postdoctoral researcher in the Center for Translational Neuroscience at the University of Oregon. She is working on the Teen Decision Study directed by Dr. Jennifer Pfeifer and Dr. Phillip Fisher. She completed her doctorate studies at the University of California, Berkeley under the co-mentorship of Dr. Silvia Bunge and Dr. Ron Dahl, and is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher in Dr. Eveline Crone’s Brain and Development Lab at Leiden University in the Netherlands. Her research interests focus on social influences on adolescent risky decision-making and include the role of pubertal hormones, reward-related brain processes, and sleep on adolescent status-seeking and risk-taking tendencies.
