Nicole Giuliani, Ph.D
Nicole Giuliani, Ph.D, is a Research Associate working with Phil Fisher and Elliot Berkman in the Psychology Department at the University of Oregon. Her research interests center around how we change our feelings in service of psychological and physical health. She is particularly interested in novel applications of cognitive reappraisal to affective states like food craving, integrating neural (functional and structural MRI), behavioral, and real-world methodological approaches, understanding the developmental trajectories of adaptive self-regulation, and how early interventions can improve these trajectories in at-risk children. She received her PhD in 2011 from Stanford University.
