Liz is a first year doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology program at the University of Oregon, under the mentorship of Dr. Nick Allen. Her research focuses on the identification of risk and protective factors involved in the development of psychopathology during adolescence. She is especially interested in identifying the aspects of parenting that may serve as protective factors, and how to use that information to design interventions. She is currently working on the Transitions in Parenting of Teenagers Study directed by Dr. Nick Allen and Dr. Lisa Sheeber.
